Equipement unique, tourné vers le service aux entreprises, qu’elles soient CRO, biopharma ou biotech, le CERFE de Genopole est une plate-forme de service dédiée à l’utilisation d’animaux à des fins scientifiques (AFiS) pour l’élevage de lignées murines transgéniques et l’évaluations in vivo du petit animal (rats, souris).

Sur une surface de 2000 m² dont 1200 m² de salle propre, le CERFE offre aux équipes scientifiques, une gamme de services permettant à vos équipes d’accéder à des équipements de haute technologie et de développer vos activités vivo compatible avec une R&D biomédicale performante et conforme aux standards de l’industrie pharmaceutique :

  1. Structure d’élevage et d’hébergement du petit animal : soins portés aux animaux d’étude et élevage à façon de modèles murins transgéniques dans un environnement sanitaire specific pathogen free (SPF) sous IVC (individual ventilated cages) ou specific and opportunistic pathogen free (SOPF) sous isolateur.
  2. Mise à disposition de laboratoires équipés à usage privatif ou partagé en confinement A1 ou A2 (non infectieux), mise à disposition d’instruments d’exploration fonctionnelle mutualisés (imagerie médicale du petit animal, irradiateur, etc.)
  3. Accompagnement personnalisé pour la mise en place de projets entrant dans le champ réglementaire APAFiS et DUO : aide à la conception et la rédaction des projets éthiques, aide à la déclaration d’utilisation d’OGM, aide à la constitution du livret de compétences, aide à la définition des besoins expérimentaux, expertise vétérinaire, comité d’éthique de site, structure chargée du bien-être animal, programme d’enrichissement, surveillance sanitaire, gestion des exports (health requests, formalités vétérinaires et douanières)
  4. Système de management de la qualité certifié ISO 9001 : 2015 pour l’ensemble des processus d’activité du centre, démarche AAALAC en projet ; accompagnement et gestion des audits clients et de leurs donneurs d’ordre.

Cette infrastructure mutualisée s’insère dans le dispositif Genopole donnant accès à 28 plate-formes technologiques et infrastructures dédiées au développement des activités R&D pour les sciences du vivant.

Genopole peut également accompagner le développement d’un établissement dédié sur le site avec son département Genopole Entreprise et la SEM Genopole.
