Je suis très honorée d’avoir reçu un des trophées de l’économie de La Provence au Palais de la Bourse hier au soir, mercredi 24 janvier, en tant que DG d’Eurobiomed, le pôle de compétitivité santé des régions Sud et Occitanie.

Titulaire d’un DEA en droit européen d’Aix Marseille Université, d’un DU en droits de l’Homme et plus récemment d’un certificat IA et discrimination, elle est recrutée en 2003 par la Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Marseille Provence pour créer et structurer le premier cluster régional des acteurs des sciences du vivant. En 2005, elle contribue à l’obtention du label « pôle de compétitivité » pour le cluster bi-régional, Paca et Languedoc-Roussillon.
Émilie Royère assure le secrétariat général de ces structures jusqu’en 2012 avant d’en prendre la direction générale. En 2019, Eurobiomed et le pôle toulousain Cancer Bio santé fusionnent et Eurobiomed devient un pôle bi-régional couvrant les régions Occitanie et Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Les principales missions d’Eurobiomed sont aujourd’hui le soutien et l’accompagnement des projets innovants publics, privés ou collaboratifs, l’accompagnement stratégique des PME dans leur croissance, le développement de grands projets structurants. Depuis quinze ans, Eurobiomed a accompagné plus de 400 projets de recherche et développement (R&D) ayant généré des investissements de plus 1,7 milliard d’euros sur le territoire.
