Lyon, France, 2 novembre 2023 – La Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes a adopté le 17 décembre 2021 un Plan de relocalisation stratégique qui, élaboré en concertation avec les acteurs économiques locaux, vise à renforcer l’industrie française et les champions locaux pour conforter la souveraineté économique régionale.

Basée sur 10 années de travaux de recherche académique, NETRI est fondée en juin 2018 à Lyon au cœur du biodistrict de Gerland. Leader français des technologies d’organes sur puce, NETRI conçoit et produit l’intégralité de ses dispositifs au sein de ses unités pilotes de production installées au Centre d’innovation de Lyonbiopole et commercialise ses solutions et services en France et à l’internationale.

La mise en œuvre de ces technologies disruptives nécessite un savoir-faire industriel propre à NETRI. La forte croissance de la demande sur les marchés dermato-cosmétique (avec son modèle de peau innervée) et pharmaceutique (avec ses modèles de trouble neurologiques comme la douleur ou la maladie d’Alzheimer) a poussé NETRI, en l’espace de 5 ans, à consolider ses équipes multidisciplinaires alliant ingénierie, biologie et digital.

A ce jour, NETRI compte plus de 50 collaborateurs formés à ces technologies uniques au monde pour une prise de poste optimale ainsi que pour leur montée en compétences, et ce, dans un souci de performance constant. Ainsi, NETRI a mis en place un plan de formation sur mesure auprès de ses équipes. Les managers et la Direction ont également pu bénéficier de formations externes pour conduire le changement et accompagner l’évolution de NETRI.

A propos de NETRI

NETRI est une start-up industrielle qui conçoit des organes-sur-puce pour les industriels de la santé et du bien-être. NETRI propose à ses clients de les accompagner tout au long du développement de leur candidat médicament ou produit en leur fournissant des réponses prédictives sur la toxicité, l’efficacité et les modes d’action en phase découverte, préclinique ou clinique. Les dispositifs organes-sur-puce permettent de créer des modèles physiologiques sains ou pathologiques.

En utilisant ses technologies microfluidiques haut-débits, les modèles de NETRI permettent de recréer la physiologie humaine in vitro par des co-cultures de cellules, primaires ou dérivées de cellules souches humaines, compartimentalisées et couplées avec des mesures d’activités fonctionnelles.

NETRI commercialise aujourd’hui ses modèles d’organes-sur-puce NeuroFludidics™ dans les applications de douleur et cosmétique. Avec plus de 45 collaborateurs, dont 12 PhD faisant partie d’une équipe mutlidisciplinaire (ingénierie, biologie et numérique), NETRI est situé à Lyon (France) avec 300 m² de salles blanches et des laboratoires P2.
