Le GIRCOR (Groupe interprofessionnel de réflexion et de communication sur la recherche est une association qui rassemble les établissements de recherche biomédicale publics et privés en France. Il informe le grand public et les relais d’opinion sur l’apport de la recherche animale en recherche biologique fondamentale et appliquée ainsi que sur les conditions dans lesquelles cette recherche est pratiquée.

Par ailleurs, le GIRCOR apporte à ses adhérents une information complète et exclusive sur l’opinion et les demandes de la société civile. Il les tient informés (veilles, analyses, lettre d’information, conférences, groupes de travail) pour leur permettre la meilleure prise en compte de ces demandes par leurs équipes.
