SUMMARY:Conference Enzymatic Biocatalysis For Industry
DESCRIPTION:Enzynov’2 – Enzymatic Biocatalysis For Industry\nUnleashing the power of Enzymes and Biocatalysis for industrial applications \nOctober 26-27\, 2023  |  Biocitech\nRomainville-Paris\, Metro Line 5 Bobigny-Pantin-Raymond Queneau\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnzymes are biological activators increasingly used in various industrial sectors. Over the past years\, enzymes have gained in specificity and activity thanks to the development of genetic and metabolic strain engineering and synthetic biology. \nThe international scientific conference and Networking Forum  Enzynov’2 – Enzymes for industrial applications will focus on the utilization of enzymes and biocatalysis technologies in achieving more sustainable and productive industrial applications (chemistry\, cosmetics\, pharma\, food\, detergents\, others…). State of the art of the technology\, major market drivers according to sectors and manufacturing challenges linked to enzyme large–scale production or custom–designed enzymes\, as well as disruptive innovations will be discussed. \nOne key objective of this Symposium and networking forum convention is to promote the development of partnerships between large–scale enzyme industrial producers\, innovative start–ups and end users across a variety of industrial sectors (food\, chemistry\, drugs\, detergents…) \nSpeakers : the conference will feature speakers from both prestigious academic institutions and industry (mature international Companies and start–ups) in a convenient format leaving lots of time for discussions and business exchanges. \nVenue : Biocitech site and 250 seats auditorium is very easy to reach by metro from Paris Gare du Nord or Gare de l’Est train stations (35 minutes)\, as well as from the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. Hotel accommodation and parking is available 5 min walk from the Biocitech facilities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInscription

SUMMARY:Webinar ProteoGenix - The use of phage display for human antibody development
DESCRIPTION:Overcome the Multiple Challenge of Neutralizing Antibodies in Cancer Therapy Using Innovative Phage Display Technologies\nWhile Phage Display panning on naïve libraries combined with costly affinity maturation strategies have allowed the successful development of neutralizing antibodies\, it also leads to failures and aborted projects. One reason for this is the immune tolerance of a naïve library that is sometimes ineffective at identifying binders against important and/or highly expressed human targets. An efficient way to access high-affinity\, fully human antibodies against such targets is thus essential for human cancer therapy. \n\n\n\n  \nIn this webinar\, ProteoGenix will discuss innovative technologies to develop such antibodies using human phage display. These strategies include: \n\nA cross-panning protocol for a successful identification of neutralizing binders.\nPhage display libraries to allow an efficient identification of neutralizing binders through competitive ELISA.\nA new human cancer library constructed from the PBMCs of cancer patients as an efficient solution to counter immune tolerance.\n\n\n\n\n\nKey Topics Include:\n\n\nEfficient identification of neutralizing antibodies\nStrategic development of human phage libraries to break immune tolerance\nStrategies to augment phage display-based discovery\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\nConor McCartin\, PhD\, Account Manager Monoclonal Antibody Development\, ProteoGenix\n\nAbout ProteoGenix\nFounded in 2003\, ProteoGenix has evolved from its roots in developing diagnostic assays and biotherapeutics to become a leading contract research organization and a trusted partner in the biopharma industry. With a focus on high-quality antibodies and proteins\, the company plays a pivotal role in advancing biomolecules from early discovery to clinical applications.
