Job description

Under the responsibility of a chemical NovAliX Project Manager, you will join a clinical-stage start-up in which you will contribute by molecule syntheses to move forward the research programs on hepatologic diseases and viral infections. Your mission will consist in:

  • Carrying out and monitoring multi-step organic syntheses (mg to g scale).
  • The purification of the molecules obtained.
  • The characterization of the products synthesized by classical analytical techniques (LC-MS, NMR).
  • The writing up of experimental procedures.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. in organic chemistry with at least 2 years’ previous industry experience in R&D. Only candidates showing significant experience in organic chemistry will be considered.

Mastery of common techniques in synthesis, purification (chromatography…), and analysis is essential.

We are seeking a rigorous and organized individual, with good adaptation skills and learning abilities. Good knowledge of English both spoken and written. Speaking Dutch is an asset.

Job description

Within the chemistry department of NovAliX, you will become a member of a team dedicated to the synthesis of DNA-encoded libraries, a break-through technology for hit finding, and you will be in charge of delivering DNA-encoded libraries (DEL) for drug discovery programs.

Your work will consist in:

  • Carrying out the syntheses of DELs.
  • Reproduce and optimize synthetic procedures.
  • Record experimental work in eLN.
  • Writing up of experimental procedures.
  • Analysis of large data sets.
  • Regularly report to your management and in internal meetings.

Profile

You should have a BSc or MSc in organic chemistry, with at least 1 year of experience in an industrial setting with a significant expertise in organic chemistry. Additional experience in DEL would be highly desirable but not mandatory. We are seeking a person who speaks fluently English, who is passionate about science and who has a keen sense of responsibility as well as being a committed team player. The candidate will have a rigorous and organized attitude to work with excellent reporting skills.

Job description

You will join a young biopharma company in which you will contribute to research programs on viral infections, liver diseases and others. You will be expected to:

  • Maintain cell cultures
  • Perform diverse cell-based assays and read-outs on a routine schedule
  • Document and analyze experimental data
  • Complete lab notebooks
  • Contribute to the development of new assays
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues
  • Present results to colleagues and assist in the preparation of study reports, patents and publications as required
  • General lab management duties (ordering, equipment maintenance, waste management…)

Profile

The position requires:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (biotechnology, medical laboratory techniques…)
  • At least two years of experience working in a research laboratory environment
  • Experience with cell culture, cell-based assays, antiviral / antimicrobial assays and basic molecular biology techniques, such as qPCR is highly desirable
  • Excellent laboratory skills; meticulous in execution

Job description

You will join a group of cell biologists/biochemists which supports drug discovery projects.

Under the supervision of a senior scientist, you will contribute to projects aiming at probing/improving drug-target interactions. You will be expected to:

  • Design and/or execute a variety of cellular and biochemical assays utilizing appropriate protocols with minimal guidance of the senior scientist.
  • Conduct autonomously primary and secondary screenings to support SAR studies using robotic platforms.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues.
  • Assist the senior scientist for the data analysis using adequately described mathematical models (Excel & Graphpad Prism).
  • Provide written accurate reporting.

Profile

  • Master degree in life science, biochemistry, in vitro pharmacology, cell biology, or any other related area.
  • 2/3 years’ experience in the pharma industry, during which you have deepened and widened your practical & theoretical knowledge in developing and performing cellular & biochemical assays in the fields of enzymology, receptor or transporter pharmacology.
  • Solid bench expertise in cell culture and in a variety of cellular and biochemical techniques such as, fluorescence and luminescence-based assays, HTRF, FRET/BRET, ELISA, western blot. Proficiencies in biophysical techniques (Surface plasmon resonance) would be an asset, as well as knowledges in automation.

Sous la responsabilité de la Responsable Achats et Services Généraux, vous serez en charge des principales missions suivantes :

  • Passer les commandes fournisseurs (consommables, produits divers, etc.).
  • Assurer le suivi des commandes (relances, gestion et inventaire des non-conformités, relai d’informations).
  • Effectuer et assurer le suivi des réservations de déplacements collaborateurs (transports, hébergements, etc.).
  • Valider et assurer le suivi des factures en lien avec le service comptabilité.

Profil :
